Use of Index Card Match Learning Methods To Enhance Students’ Learning Engagement In Fiqh Subjects of Grade XI in MA YPPA Cipulus

Abstract

To enhance students’ jurisprudential learning an innovative learning model is needed that can create an active and enjoyable learning. With the problematic, then the researcher will use an active and fun learning method one of which is by applying the index card match learning method. This index card match learning method is a learning by matching index cards which is quite fun which is used to review previously learned material. Based on the results of the study and discussion, it can be concluded that fiqh learning by using index card match method can enhance the learning activity of class XI students in MA YPPA Cipulus. Where on cycle 1 questionnaire results with a percentage of 60% experienced an increase in cycle 2 to 74% with high category. The percentage of student observation results in cycle 1 of 58% increased in cycle 2 to 81% with a very high category. And it was seen that students’ learning activity in cycle 2 experienced an increase in every indicator of it. Therefore, the act of using this index card match method can be used by teachers on fiqh learning in order to increase students’ learning activity.
