Abstract
This study aims to determine the ability to read the Qur'an of class V students of MI Al-Abrar Makassar City before using rhythm jiharkah through the habituation method, to determine the ability to read the Qur'an of class V students of MI Al-Abrar Makassar City after using rhythm jiharkah through the habituation method, and to determine the ability to read the Qur'an of class V students of MI Al-Abrar Makassar City before and after using rhythm jiharkah through the habituation method. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. Where this research design begins with an initial test (pre non-test) given to class V MI Al-Abrar, then given treatment in the experimental class. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data collection methods and research instruments used are tests, observations, and documentation. Data analysis in this study will use descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results of this study indicate that the ability to read the Qur'an of class V students of MI Al-Abrar Makassar City before using the rhythm of jiharkah through the habituation method was obtained that the majority of students 83.33% were in the low category, compared to other categories, namely 11.11% in the medium category, and 5.56% in the high category. Based on the results of the posttest, a total value of 2056 was obtained with an average of 57.09. There is a very significant influence on the use of jiharkah rhythms through the habituation method on the ability to read the Al-Qur'an of class V students at MI Al-Abrar Makassar City, which can be seen from the results of the significance value test (p-value) for each data which is <0.05, which results in Ho being rejected.
