Abstract
This research focuses on the low interest of students in learning fiqh subjects at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Muthohhar, especially in class X.3. Many students tend to be inactive, lack enthusiasm in participating in learning, and lack motivation to review the material that has been learned. To solve these problems, innovation in learning media is needed that can attract students' interest while creating a fun learning atmosphere. One of the tools used is Bombozzle, which is a puzzle-based educational game that is presented in an interactive form so that it can increase student participation directly. This study aims to examine the impact of the use of Bombozzle learning media on the learning interest of grade X.3 students at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Muthohhar. This study applies a quantitative approach with the applied research method is quantitative descriptive with a one-group pre-test post-test design. The object of the study was class X.3 students at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Muthohhar with a total of 21 people. The tool used was a learning interest questionnaire with a Likert scale. The research procedure is carried out by providing a pre-test to find out the initial condition of students' learning interests, then carrying out learning using Bombozzle media, and after that providing a post-test to measure changes in students' learning interests. The results of the study indicated an increase in the value of students' learning interest after using Bombozzle media in learning. The increase can be seen from the comparison of pre-test and post-test results which show a favorable difference. Thus, it is concluded that Bombozzle as an effective learning medium to increase the learning interest of students in grade X.3 of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Muthohhar.
