Abstract

This study aims to explain and analyze the principal's strategy in implementing the Independent Curriculum and its implications for strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile at RA NU 01 Al-Amin Bulakwaru, Tegal Regency. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity is guaranteed through triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The results showed that the principal's strategy in implementing the Independent Curriculum was carried out through three main stages: (1) Planning includes making school policies and programs and building commitment from school residents; (2) Implementation through adopted values, daily practices, and cultural symbols; (3) Evaluation through observation of attitudes and program monitoring. The implications of the principal's strategy include six dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile: faith and piety, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, creativity, and critical reasoning. This strategy is effective in improving the quality of learning and character building of students in accordance with the demands of the Independent Curriculum.
