Strategi Implementasi Nilai-Nilai HAM Dalam Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler di Sekolah

Abstract

The implementation of Human Rights (HR) values in education is an important aspect in shaping the humanistic and democratic attitudes and character of students. This study aims to analyze strategies for implementing human rights values in extracurricular activities at schools, identify forms of implementation and practical applications, and examine their impact on students’ attitudes. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, focusing on field studies through interviews, observations, and documentation of extracurricular activities. The discussion emphasizes the integration of human rights values in extracurricular program planning, the application of participatory and non-discriminatory activities, and the role of instructors as role models in instilling humanitarian values. This study also elaborates on the relationship between the implementation of human rights values and the development of students’ attitudes such as tolerance, responsibility, cooperation, leadership, and peaceful conflict resolution skills. Thus, extracurricular activities are viewed as having a strategic role as a medium for the contextual and sustainable internalization of human rights values within the school environment, contributing to the strengthening of character education and the development of an inclusive school culture.
