Abstract
This study aims to analyze the role of Human Rights (HAM) education in preventing violence in the community. Social violence remains a significant problem in various communities, influenced by the community's low understanding of individual rights and humanitarian principles. The research method used is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach, in the form of data collection through interviews with community leaders, observations of human rights education activities, and related literature studies. The results show that human rights education plays an important role in increasing public awareness of rights and obligations, fostering attitudes of tolerance, empathy, and justice, and encouraging peaceful conflict resolution. The implementation of human rights education is carried out through socialization activities, conflict resolution training, community dialogue, and strengthening human rights values within families and community organizations. This study concludes that human rights education is an effective instrument in preventing violence and establishing a culture of peace, as well as a strategic strategy for creating a safe, harmonious, and civilized community environment.
