This research was conducted to analyze the relevance of students' ethics towards teachers according to Burhanuddin Az-Zarnuji in the book Ta'lim Al-Muta'allim in the modern era. The method in this research is included in library research where the data is obtained from the library. The research results obtained show that the ethical principles taught by Az-Zarnuji, such as respect, obedience and etiquette in interacting with teachers, remain relevant and can be applied in the current educational context. However, new challenges arise due to the influence of technology and shifts in social values. This research recommends the importance of integrating ethical values in learning to shape the character of students who respect teachers and the teaching and learning process. Even though the book Ta'lim Al-Muta'allim was written in a very different era from today, Burhanuddin Az-Zarnuji's teachings remain relevant and valuable in the world of modern education. Principles such as respect for teachers such as not crossing in front of the teacher, not talking too much in front of the teacher, respecting their children and anyone related to the teacher, respecting the teacher by respecting the book, not sitting near the teacher when studying, not hurting the teacher's feelings remain important foundations in form good student character. By adapting to current developments, these values can help create a higher quality and more meaningful learning environment in this digital era.
