Analisis Faktor Penyebab dan Strategi Penanganan Kerusuhan Penonton dalam Pertandingan Olahraga: Perspektif Sosiologi dan Manajemen Keselamatan
Abstract
Spectator riots during sports matches are a complex problem that can have detrimental impacts on social and economic aspects, as well as human safety. This study aims to analyze the factors contributing to spectator riots and formulate effective management strategies based on the perspectives of sports sociology and safety management. The method used is a narrative literature review, examining various scientific references, safety regulations, and secondary data related to the phenomenon of supporter riots. The analysis indicates that spectator riots are triggered by a complex interaction of mass psychology factors (deindividuation), group fanaticism (social identity theory), dissatisfaction with refereeing decisions, as well as weaknesses in infrastructure and crowd control. The recommended management strategies include short-term approaches such as modernizing ID-based ticketing systems and redefining the role of stewards, as well as long-term approaches involving supporter community development and the standardization of stadium safety facilities.
